Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. A half English mixed with Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father was Argentine with Scottish-English descent. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish as well as English. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's ex-married partners. Family was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and then moved to Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos aires to Victoria was difficult, and she did not study English, hoping to go back to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was forced to change schools. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. At the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one to hire her as an experienced model.
