Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer and vocalist. As an intelligent and attractive actress, she serves as a role-model for numerous Asian actors working in Hollywood who wish to make it big. She gained fame after a number of popular early roles in the series. For instance, in The Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. The actress took her initial success into big screen roles in films such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superlative performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren Ishii In the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill Volume 1. In the same time frame, she played the lead in several flops on the box-office like Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated films like Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and many others, she voiced characters with prominent voices. Mia Mason's part in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen film, failed to bring about the results. An appearance in the critically-acclaimed police drama Southland helped re-establish herself as a prominent actress. Liu chooses her roles carefully so that she doesn't get stereotyped within an industry which is extremely competitive. Although she is adamant about her heritage but it doesn't mean she has to be in her work as an artist.
