Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her work in House, a Fox medical drama, House. Raised in Wayne with a strict Jewish tradition, she moved to New York City at the age of 18 and began studying theater at Tisch School of Arts. She became very involved with the clubs in the city of New York, and made enough noise that she was heard by the media. In the meantime, she was becoming more conscious of AIDS' devastating effects.
