Amanda Blake
Amanda Blake (born Beverly Louise Neill) was an incredibly known American actress. Best known for her role in the character of actress Miss Kitty Russell from the TV series "Gunsmoke" and was also a very popular American actress. Apart from that, she has appeared in the television shows "The Red Skelton Show", "Tattletales" and "The Edge of Night". She also appeared in numerous other movies, such as Stars In My Crown, Duchess of Idaho,?Cattle Town Crusoe,?"About Mrs. Leslie",?The Adventures of Hajji Baba, High Society? The Boost??. A former telephone operator, Blake was an avid animal fan. She and her spouse Frank Gilbert and she were among the first people to successfully breed Cheetahs. She was co-founding along with Frank Gilbert, her husband of Arizona Animal Welfare League. Blake was a past board member of Humane Society of the United States. Talking about the honours Blake was awarded She was inducted into the Hall of Great Western Performers of National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. In addition, the American Cancer Society also gave Blake a Courage Award.
