SarahAahoo Jahansouzshahi, born January 10, 1980), known professionally as Sarah Shahi is an American model and actress. She was Carmen in the TV show The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012), and Sameen Shaw in the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). Also, she played the role of Det. Dani Reese is a character in Life[3] and Alias. She starred in Reverie, a 2018 series. She appeared in a recurring part in City on a Hill on Showtime and in seven episodes on The Rookie as Jessica Russo who was her love interest. Shahi met Robert Altman while working as an extra in the show Dr. T and the Women of Texas. He encouraged Shahi to move to Hollywood where she received roles in Alias and Dawson's Creek and also Reba and Supernatural. The second season featured her in the character in the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as seen on The L Word in 2005. Shahi's contract for two years was not renewed after the end of the fourth season. Shahi was sacked.
